Let’s create a little story here: say you travel to a new city, and you know you want to visit a significant landmark. Next you’re going to make sure you have a camera in your hot little hands, so you’re 100% ready to capture this beauteous place that you’ve seen in travel magazines and blogs. And you get there with the highest of hopes that you’re about to take the next cover of the National Geographic… what happens next? Your destination is teaming with a thousand other people who had the exact same thought. How to deal with it?
option a) embrace it-no one will notice if you photograph them, because everyone is taking pictures of everyone.
option b) use a low aperture in hopes the blurry people will start to look like their surroundings.
option c) look for a peaceful moment in all the chaos.
Is there a right answer? is this a quiz? :) I would probably go with a or c.
haha, pay attention class! :)
Hehe, me and my macro-perspective on life would totally go with b…. and excellent “people photography,” for being not (oh, please.) good at it… ;)
macro is great… I like how you think.
what a great post :-)
thanks maenamor!
I think all these shots are very good and you captured the mood of the place more than anything. Was there music being played somewhere? It seems like a dancing joyful place.
haha, no music, but people were shaking the tree branches, and the kids obviously loved the raining blossoms!
