seagulls quickly became my most popular subjects, since they are a dime a dozen down in Baja. they sure do like to squawk.

DiCAPac WP-S10 Waterproof Case Review
I bought this waterproof casing for $80, and overall was pretty pleased (complaints follow the photos).
For the price, it is great. Would I be willing to charge someone to do an underwater photo shoot? No–the quality and predictability are too low. But is it a fun novelty item that will keep your camera dry? Yes.
I have included these unedited examples of what it’s capable of:
Now for some criticism:
1) your heart stops when you put it in the water and doesn’t start again until you take it out.
2) you can’t get rid of all the air, so there are some buoyancy issues.
3) you’re looking through the tiny viewfinder, through the clear casing, and through your googles–causing some visibility issues.
4) it’s difficult to change your settings while it’s in the bag. I know this is blasphemous to say, but I’d go with the “Auto” shooting mode.
5) the front of the protective lens casing hangs out too far, so if you’re not holding it close, you get a black circle around your photos.
